Every parent’s worst nightmare 😨💔🚌 An Ottawa-area kindergartener was found crying and wandering through an apartment building after being dropped off at the wrong bus stop. The incident happened Aug. 26 during the first week of school. A resident said she heard the young child screaming in the hallway and found him alone and “inconsolable,” calling out for his mother. The Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) confirmed the incident and said the standard verification procedure was not properly followed when the child got off the bus. The board says it is following up with Ottawa’s school transportation consortium and the transportation provider to ensure existing safety procedures are strictly followed.
