NAV’s following Macklemore’s lead 😳🇨🇦 Canadian rapper NAV, who was born and raised in Toronto’s Rexdale neighbourhood, was captured saying “Free Palestine” onstage while performing as a special guest on Young Thug & YSL’s New Generation Tour. 👀🇵🇸 The moment comes during a major conversation in the music industry surrounding artists speaking publicly about Palestine. Just days ago, Macklemore was removed from the remaining dates of Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour after making pro-Palestinian statements onstage, including saying “Free Palestine.” NAV is currently touring across the U.S. with Young Thug, with the New Generation Tour continuing through September before heading to Europe in October. The Toronto-born rapper has now added his voice to the conversation at a time when what artists say on some of the world’s biggest stages is receiving significant attention.
