Wide receiver Micahi Danzy has not been utilized at all this year, much like pass catcher Duce Robinson.
Danzy is one of the fastest players in all of college football, but he has only recorded 6 receptions for 69 yards and 0 touchdowns this season.
The coaching staff is relying on the Tallahassee native to get involved in the offense by using him on gimmicky end-arounds that opposing defenses already have film on. The coaching staff schemed Danzy up the seam for a 44-yard reception in the season opener against New Mexico State and you want to see more of that. While I am not suggesting that Danzy is a complete wide receiver at this time, he can be used on tunnel screens, slants, crossers, zigs, and even go-routes.
The offense’s passing game hasn’t been explosive at all and it is time for quarterback Ashton Daniels to unleash his downfield passing ability and allow the playmakers like Duce Robinson and Micahi Danzy to get involved.
Alabama will be prepared for the Danzy trick plays...
