Vestrahorn Viking Village 🪓🛡️⛵️ ⚔️ Stepped straight out of the present and into the Viking Age. This ‘village’ beneath Vestrahorn was actually built as a film set — never finished, just left standing — and somehow that makes it feel even more real. Weathered wood, turf roofs, the mountain looming over everything like it’s been watching for a thousand years. My son and I wandered every corner of it, half expecting a longship to round the bend. Wild to think most of it was built from driftwood and old telephone poles.
