Kevin Durant entering Year 20 really deserves more attention. We celebrated LeBron James reaching that milestone, and KD’s longevity deserves appreciation too. Nearly two decades after entering the NBA as a 19-year-old averaging 20 points per game, he’s still one of the toughest scorers in basketball. 🥶🏀
What makes it even crazier is everything Durant’s body has been through. He suffered a torn Achilles—an injury that has changed careers—and still returned as an elite scorer. At this stage, most players are winding down, but KD is still out there taking on huge minutes, creating his own shot and making ridiculously difficult buckets look routine.
20 YEARS OF KEVIN DURANT. 👏🐐 From Seattle to Oklahoma City, Golden State, Brooklyn, Phoenix and now Houston, we’ve watched one of the greatest scorers ever dedicate his life to hoops. Regardless of how much longer he plays, seeing KD still doing this in Year 20 is something basketball fans shouldn’t take for granted. ❤️🔥
