Kevin Durant at his peak was basically a 7-foot guard with one of the deepest scoring bags the game has ever seen. 😭🔥 The handle at his size was absurd — crossovers, hesitations, in-and-outs, spins, pull-ups — and because of that nearly 7-foot frame and ridiculous release point, defenders were basically choosing how they wanted to get scored on. Give him space and he’s pulling up. Crowd him and he’s putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim. Put a smaller defender on him and he’s shooting right over the top. 😮‍💨 Pre-Achilles OKC Kevin Durant was especially DIFFERENT. The combination of length, fluidity, ball handling and shot-making legitimately made him look like an oversized shooting guard. Some of these moves shouldn’t even be possible for somebody that tall.
