Not because I care how many push-ups he can do. Because the habits kids build when they’re young have a way of following them as they grow. If taking care of himself, staying active and challenging himself becomes normal now, hopefully those are things he carries with him long after he stops needing Dad on FaceTime watching. ❤️ I’m not trying to raise another version of me.
