Happy Constitution Day! Today, we honor the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787, and the enduring principles that continue to shape our nation. Named for our nation’s founding document by George Washington, the first President of the United States, USS Constitution has carried the ideals of our Constitution across generations. Today, she stands as a living symbol of the oath taken by generations of Americans to support and defend it. #America250 #OldIronsides #USSConstitution #Boston #NavalHistory
