Influencer Frankie LaPenna stepped into an MMA-style octagon to face REK, a 6-foot humanoid robot, in what was billed as the world's first human-versus-robot fight. LaPenna, who is better known for his comedy content than combat sports, managed to land several punches early on before REK quickly turned the fight around with a series of powerful kicks. The robot eventually sent LaPenna crashing onto the canvas, with footage of the unusual showdown later racking up tens of millions of views across social media. 🎥 frankielap & rekrobot #robot #humanoid #robotvsterminator #fight #viral
