If it's starting to feel a bit post-apocalyptic out there, it's not just you. US gas prices have hit an average of $4.48 per gallon at the pump, with average Diesel prices now at over $6.51 per gallon nationwide. These prices are even higher in states like California, where prices have hit an average of $6.17 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. In other words, parts of the country could soon see prices that rival those depicted in 2007 Will Smith sci-fi film I Am Legend, where gas prices before the apocalypse were $6.63 per gallon for regular. The spike in price is largely due to the ongoing US war with Iran, with gas prices up more than 54% year over year. #news #gasprices #iamlegend
