Warren Buffett has stepped down as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway at 96, handing the role to his son Howard after more than six decades with the company. Buffett, who has been a Berkshire director since 1965, will become chairman emeritus and remain on the board as an adviser. In a letter to shareholders, Buffett reflected on his age, writing: 'Father Time always wins. He has, however, been generous with me.' The move comes eight months after Buffett stepped down as CEO, with Greg Abel taking over the company’s top executive role. #warrenbuffett #news #berkshirehathaway
