Aston Villa advanced to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Tammy Abraham opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a calm finish before Victor Torp equalised for the hosts with a brilliant 25-yard free-kick. Ross Barkley restored Villa's lead before half-time with an unmarked header from a corner, and Abraham completed his double just before the hour mark by turning in John McGinn's corner to ease the pressure on Unai Emery's side. 📱 Watch all the action from the 2026/27 Carabao Cup LIVE only on FanCode 🎥 Full Match highlights available on the FanCode YouTube channel Hit the Bell 🔔 icon to never miss an update.
