Today is #MacMillerDay‼️ ❤️ Mac was presented with the key to the city by Pittsburgh mayor Luke Ravenstahl on September 20th, 2013, which was declared a holiday in his honor 🔑 Mac was only 21 at the time, but he’d already become the first independently distributed artist to top the Billboard 200 with his debut album ‘Blue Slide Park’ 🏆 He was given a standard key and a custom key designed by his brother, Miller McCormick, which included an engraving of the Pittsburgh skyline 🔥 Mac referenced the ceremony on the 2014 song “Here We Go,” rapping: “I think I made it / Key to the city I keep to open the gates wit’.” How are y’all going to celebrate #MacMiller Day⁉️ #RIP #rap #RapTV
