Wild Wednesday is basically built into life at Denver JDS. If you’ve spent much time on campus—or seen much of our social media—you know Wednesdays are always special and usually at least a little wild. 🐐🐱🐓 With this gorgeous end-of-summer weather, it’s also the perfect time for classes to convene outdoors, where learning comes with fresh air, plenty of sunshine, and hilarious antics from the kittens, chickens, and kids—of both the goat and human varieties. Today, multiple grades took advantage of our amazing outdoor spaces for everything from an ASL elective to a middle school Israeli cooking class, while our 5th graders chopped freshly picked cucumbers for a community cucumber salad. Delicious and nutritious dishes made with farm-fresh produce—say that three times fast. 🥒😂 And, naturally, there were plenty of kitten cuddles, goat tricks, and other the_farmette fun in between.
