Wednesday marks 20 years since the unveil of the Sabres 'Buffaslug' jersey. Replacing the original 'Goathead' jerseys, the Sabres wore the polarizing jersey for four seasons between 2006 and 2010. Buffalo had success in its first year wearing the look, winning the Presidents' Trophy in the 2006-07 season and reaching the conference finals. The Sabres went back to the playoffs in 2010 before retiring the jersey for good.
