K-State Landscape Architecture and Design students are getting hands-on experience designing for real people, real spaces and real needs. Through an upper-level studio project, students worked with community stakeholders to transform an underused space at the Manhattan Arts Center into an outdoor classroom and community gathering space. For these students, it’s more than a class project. It’s an opportunity to turn their designs into something people can actually experience and use, while learning what it takes to create spaces that make a difference in the community. #KState
