Pete Alonso delivered the signature moment, launching a two-run homer off right-hander Tyler Rogers in the eighth inning after getting a 1-1 two-seamer over the middle of the plate. Alonso’s blast was his 40th home run of the 2026 season. He becomes the ninth different player to record a 40-homer season for the Orioles, producing the franchise’s 10th 40-home-run season.
