Zipline is on the front page of the news in Ghana today for supporting the healthcare supply chain and delivering over 3,000 COVID-19 samples from around the country to testing centers in main cities. Communities we serve receive test results faster and cheaper than before - and this all while the pandemic continues to wreak havoc on global supply chains around the world.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In 16 months of operations in Ghana 🇬🇭, Zipline has fulfilled over 116,000 medical products to over 1,000 health facilities across the country. During the pandemic, we have seen requests for vaccines spike, and have been able to fulfill the demand to ensure no kids get sick from preventable causes. There have been shortages of blood supply due to fear of donation during the pandemic, and our teams have begun running blood drives in our communities so we can meet demand.
