Zipline is helping governments combat COVID-19. This past week, in Ghana, we began delivering COVID-19 test samples from more than 1,000 rural and hard to reach hospitals to labs in the country’s two largest cities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Prior to Zipline, the government had to use trucks, or helicopter to pick up these samples and transport them back to the cities. This could take several hours if not several days. When fighting to prevent the spread of this disease, time is of the essence and every second counts.
