Abu Dhabi AI infrastructure firm Core42 and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) have signed a strategic agreement at GISEC Global 2026 to advance UAE digital sovereignty. The partnership integrates TII’s research in cryptography, hardware security modules, and encrypted AI inferencing into Core42’s sovereign cloud and Compass AI platform. The initiative creates an operational pipeline to deploy locally developed security technologies across public and enterprise cloud workloads. By building localized defense frameworks around compute clusters and cloud infrastructure, the UAE continues to strengthen its sovereign technology capabilities.
