He didn’t start with money, power, or a plan to build one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations. He started with an 8x8 room and a simple decision: someone has to help.
Abdul Sattar Edhi saw people falling through the cracks. The sick, the injured, and the poor had nowhere to turn. So, he began helping with what he had and asking others to join him.
One small act became a movement.
That’s what I love about Builders. They don’t wait for the perfect circumstances, enough resources, or someone else’s permission to make a difference. They start where they are. Edhi’s story is a reminder that you don’t need to have everything to change something. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing a problem and deciding: I’ll be part of the solution.
What a Builder!
