Today is international Batman day! Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, Batman is the masked vigilante persona of billionaire Bruce Wayne, who dedicates his life to fighting Gotham City’s criminal underworld after witnessing his parents’ murder. His cinematic legacy is defined by landmark releases such as Tim Burton’s Batman (1989), Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed The Dark Knight trilogy—Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012)—and Matt Reeves’ gritty reboot The Batman (2022). #batman #superman #nostalgia #90s #aquaman
