With their fiery live shows and songs of pain, longing and rage, Gurriers want to be a band that matter – and nothing less. The Irish five-piece are going to the next level with 'Nobody's Coming To Save You', an arresting and uncompromising rock record with "dreams, decay and desire" at its core.
Formed of boyhood friends and faces from the Dublin scene during COVID, Gurriers named themselves after a word that "is rooted in a lot of negativity", says guitarist Mark MacCormack. "It would be synonymous with a thug or a hoodlum. We’re more the idea of community. The stage presentation is bombastic, let loose and a bit wild. We’re always trying to encourage you to be yourself, truly and fully, have a good time and be accepted."
