Food pantry saltbox at 239 Baltimore Ave., Dundalk.
This is a story of teamwork making a dream work.
We built this 2/3-sized food pantry saltbox prototype based on a great idea floated by Things To Do in Baltimore and donated it to the Baltimore Community Fridge Network, founded in part by saltbox artist and force of nature Liz Miller. This location is run by Rev Kevin of the Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry.
If you have the skills to help build more of these smaller, but still mighty food pantry saltboxes based on this design, reach out to the Baltimore Community Fridge network. They have the materials.
Follow the Baltimore Community Fridge Network for a full map of network location and information on how to support this vital resource,
Special thanks to Lisa Harbin for supplying the food.
