LIONEL RICHIE HOSPITALIZED AGAIN — THREE TOUR DATES CANCELED Lionel Richie is back in the hospital, and this time his heart is the reason. 💔 The 77-year-old legend was treated for atrial fibrillation (AFib), an irregular heart rhythm, and underwent a minimally invasive procedure called an ablation. His rep told PEOPLE: “The doctor said everything went perfectly.” 🙏 The good news: Richie is “doing great.” The tough news: he’s stepping away from the stage for now, and his Sing a Song All Night Long tour with Earth, Wind & Fire is taking a hit. ❌ CANCELED SHOWS: 📍 Sept. 26 — San Francisco 📍 Sept. 30 — Chicago 📍 Oct. 2 — Columbus, Ohio This is his third hospital stay since June.
