A little over 10 years ago, I was sitting in Tyra Burton, MSM’s Social Media Marketing class at Kennesaw State University. At that point, I knew I wanted to work in marketing, but nothing had felt *right* yet. That class changed everything for me. A career in social immediately clicked, and this class inspired me to ask for permission to manage my first ever social accounts. Over the years, Tyra has become a wonderful mentor, sounding board, and friend. She continues to educate, encourage, and inspire me and countless others. I’ve been honored to speak to several of her classes and it’s always a joy returning to my alma mater. 🦉 This week, I had the privilege of bringing her to #Brandweek as my +1 and we had a blast together.
