In 2016, Susie Wolff launched the Dare to be Different programme to increase women’s participation not only on track but in all aspects of the sport. In 2019, the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission, Susie Wolff, and Dare to be Different joined forces to pilot an exciting new educational programme for girls aged 8 to 18, which the fia.official later adopted as FIA Girls on Track. Around the world, FIA Girls on Track works with national motorsport governing bodies, racing series and different initiatives to encourage women’s participation. One of the most notable programmes is fiaformulae’s FIA Girls on Track programme, which invites girls aged 12 to 18 to explore motorsport through hands-on activities, workshops, and behind-the-scenes access at every Formula E race, with over 6,000 participants globally so far. The programme aims to inspire and empower the next generation of motorsport talent. 📸: Formula E and fiawim #WomenInMotorsport #GirlsOnTrack #FormulaE
