A clearer view is coming back into focus 🦍 As we continue with our celebration of #WorldGorillaDay, we’re happy to share that work is progressing inside our African Rainforest Pavilion as we restore the glass viewing area at the back of the Western lowland gorilla habitat. While construction has been underway, the gorillas in our care have continued to enjoy their outdoor habitat and Dayroom. We look forward to welcoming them back into the Rainforest and giving Zoo guests and members the opportunity to once again connect with this incredible species from a safe, protected distance. As we welcome them back in the coming weeks, please remember that while we are guests, this is their home. Keeping voices and noise to a minimum helps create a comfortable environment for the gorillas in our care. Thank you for being a good guest and helping us create meaningful connections with wildlife that inspire care, action and lasting impact. Stay tuned for further details 🦍💚
