Disgusting behavior. 🤮⁣ ⁣ Buckle up for this one: On August 23rd, Federico Higuaín was coaching MLS’ Columbus Crew second division team when he disagreed with a call made by the female referee and violently grabbed her hand, refused to let go, and said, “Don’t forget, this is a man’s game.” 🫠⁣ ⁣ Higuaín was immediately sent off and received a two-match ban, a punishment the Professional Soccer Referees Association did not think was strict enough. 👀⁣ ⁣ After public backlash and nearly a month of internal review, the Crew fired Higuaín on Tuesday.
