She changed the game. Now she’s part of the arena forever. 🐐💜⁣ ⁣ Today, the Los Angeles Sparks unveiled a statue of Lisa Leslie outside Crypto.com Arena, making her the first player in franchise history to receive the honour. 🤩⁣ ⁣ It’s another historic milestone for one of the greatest players the WNBA has ever seen. 🔥⁣ ⁣ Leslie’s legacy goes far beyond her three WNBA championships, two Finals MVPs, and Hall of Fame career. She was one of the league’s original superstars, helped put women’s basketball on the map in Los Angeles, and inspired generations of players who came after her. 🥹⁣ ⁣ Her statue now stands alongside some of the biggest names in LA sports history, and it’s a powerful reminder that women’s sports legends deserve to be celebrated just as visibly. 💯⁣ ⁣ Here’s to giving icons their flowers while everyone can see them. 🌼⁣ ⁣ #wnba #womenssports #basketball
