So far, my 2023 has been exquisite on the book reading front. Three for three - each lands on my all time favorite list. ... Dear taffyakner, thank you for the hilarity and heart in both the book and series FLEISHMAN IS IN TROUBLE. ... Dear JR Moehringer (with Prince Harry), thank you for the storytelling and authenticity in SPARE (both the print and audio versions; this comes from someone with no usual interest in the Royals). ... Dear gabriellezevin, thank you for the characters and soul of TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW. I love to read and I love to write. And, the more I do both, the more I have come to appreciate what a craft writing is. It's magic when done well. And it's work to spin magic. Here's to awe-evoking, craft-sharpening, magic-spinning writers! #JRMoehringer #spare #readinglist
