I have been doing research about bias for 21 years, driven by my own desire to understand how/why I'm not always as good a person as I'd like to be (ugh ugh ugh) and what to do about it.
After the murder of George Floyd two years ago, many of us who are researchers in this area found our inboxes overflowing with requests from people wanting to learn. I decided that if people were willing to grow and learn with me, I was willing to help. My book publisher had been suggesting a newsletter for a while so I crawled out from my mountain of excuses to make it happen.
I posted something here, a few of you subscribed, and gulp, I put out the first issue in June 2020.
Thus, the Dear Good People newsletter was born. A free, bite-sized, zeitgeisty, evidence-based resource intended for people wanting to be more inclusive.
