My favorite selects from this year’s Field Hockey intro video shoot! This project was especially meaningful to me because it marked the first year our department expanded beyond our traditional in-studio Media Day and shot the intro video in the stadium where the team competes. Taking the production into the team’s home environment opened up so many creative opportunities. We were able to shoot a jersey reveal in the team’s newly renovated locker room, film the athletes on field, and overall create a video that felt more authentic. Rather than showcasing the athletes in a controlled environment, we were able to highlight their home venue and capture the athletes’ perspective from the field. As a whole, I’m extremely happy with how the footage came together and, more importantly, excited about how this approach can help improve future departmental projects!
