I think one of the biggest things I’ve realized about myself is that I don’t have to choose and it’s okay :) I can want a soft life and still be ridiculously ambitious. I can love being taken care of and still need to know I can take care of myself. I can love beautiful things and be even more proud when I know I earned them. I can trust God’s plan and still work my ass off for mine 😅 I don’t want to choose between the woman I am and the woman I want to become. I want to make room for both. And maybe that’s what building a life on your own terms actually looks like.
