#DDay was the turning-point invasion of World War II, 79 years ago today. The courage showcased by those who fought on that day in 1944 acts as a reminder to honor those who serve today. Whether they are flying fighter jets, operating advanced technology or supporting our missions from the ground, our Airmen carry on the legacy of those who came before them.
