This summer I wanted to combine my goal of getting outside and trying new things with my love for bringing people together and building community. If you’ve been here long enough you know I moved here alone all the way from Ghana for high school and had to build my social life brick by brick. Add to that the fact that making friends as adults is already hard on its own. Our first tennis social was the perfect way to dip our toes into a new hobby while making some friends along the way, and it was so much fun.
