U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville said Sept. 21 that if elected governor he will work to represent people who disagree with him, including anyone who votes for former Sen. Doug Jones, his Democratic opponent. Tuberville said that includes immigrants and Muslims. “I have a difference of opinion of how things should be run by some on the far left,” Tuberville said before a charity event hosted by the Monday Morning Quarterback Club in Birmingham. “No matter whether they vote for you or not, you got to represent them. You should try to make life as good for them as anybody. I do have a way of life that I believe in -- God, family, country -- and that’s going to be the top of our agenda,” he said.
