This morning Boosie asked me, “Mommy, would you ever leave me?” 🥺 I reassured him that I would NEVER leave him, but I could tell the question came from somewhere. He told me a friend’s parents are divorcing, and his friend said he may never see his mom again. My heart dropped and I immediately felt so bad for the friend. Children absorb more than we realize. They hear, notice, worry, and carry those feelings with them. Divorce can be traumatizing for the entire family and I would definitely recommend therapy. And sometimes what may seem like a “random” question is really a child asking, “Am I safe?” So today, I reminded Boosie that him and Sheriff Bae is stuck with me foevvvaaa!
