September is National Recovery Month, a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and hope found in recovery—and to celebrate the many pathways people take toward healthier, more connected lives. Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey, and strong relationships can play an important role along the way. Grantee Spotlight: Realness Project Realness Project believes that lasting recovery begins with healing relationships—starting with the relationship we have with ourselves. Through trauma-informed programming, the organization helps participants build emotional resilience, strengthen communication, and develop the skills needed to foster healthier relationships, supporting mental wellness and long-term recovery.
