blank space. throughout the week, I shadowed some of the most experienced photographers I know, following them around the course, watching their workflow, and how they represent themselves as a part of some of the worlds premier photo distributors, like Getty Images, AP News, and USA Today. One consistent theme was clean backgrounds. Often this resulted in lots of negative space that just brought more emphasis to the subject. Here I’ll showcase some of my favorite frames with clean backgrounds or blank space.
