18 years later and this cast still looks ridiculous 🤯 Tropic Thunder hit UK cinemas in September 2008, bringing together Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Tom Cruise, Matthew McConaughey and a seriously stacked supporting cast. The action comedy follows a group of actors making a Vietnam War film who suddenly find themselves caught up in a very real and very dangerous situation. Stiller also directed and co-wrote the film, while Downey Jr. went on to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Kirk Lazarus. And then there’s Tom Cruise as foul mouthed studio executive Les Grossman, a role so different from his usual action hero appearances that it became one of the film’s most memorable surprises 😂 #TropicThunder #Comedy #LADbible
