Welcome to our CSULB COMM #SeniorSpotlight! Today we are highlighting Emily Hopton. 🎓 Emily is a 2022 graduate who majored in communication studies. Pursuing an MBA is her next plan after graduation. In the summer, Emily is going to Havasu and enjoying her first summer without classes in years! Her best memory at The Beach is throwing an on campus event, 5-minute Impact, and joining the SCA as a board member! She had so many fun times planning and hosting meetings. It did not only give her great experience working with a team and speaking in front of people, but she also made great friends along the way! 💛 Lastly, Emily advice is: “'If not now, then when? My advice is to go for it! Whatever you’re dreaming, just try it and see what happens. If it’s meant for you, it will stick and if it’s not you’ll learn something along the way that will add value in your next venture.
