📍Welcome to our Study Abroad Spotlight! 📍We will highlight COMM studies faculty and students' time in the Study Abroad program. ✈️ This past Winter Session, Dr. Derme, Dr. Kreiser, and CSULB students went to Barcelona, Spain. 🇪🇸 Today we will be spotlighting Dr. Derme's experience going abroad.✨ Dr. Derme taught COMM 400: Nonverbal Communication during her visit. Her favorite memory from the trip was watching students take in La Sagrada Familia. "They were in awe!" she shares. 🤩 "Despite the COVID-19 situation, our students were able to have a memorable and fulfilling experience. It was an incredible trip! 🧳 Through winter sessions abroad, lifelong friendships began, intercultural openness was achieved, and a new generation of travel addicts emerged!" she explains. 🛩Lastly, Dr. Derme shares that there are too many reasons as to why Study Abroad is worth the experience. “It's life-changing!" 💫 #csulb #lbsu #gobeach #csulbcomm #StudyAbroadSpotlight #commstudies #studyabroad
