Two things can be true.. We can be excited for what’s to come in Houston and still be heartbroken for the Connecticut fans who are losing a team they’ve loved and supported for 23 seasons. Being there for the final Sunset game, you could feel how much this team means to this community. The sadness was real. The love was so strong. 23 seasons. So many players, fans, memories and moments that built a legacy far bigger than basketball. Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a historic and emotional night. The Sun may be setting in Connecticut, but this legacy will forever be part of the WNBA!! #wnba #conneticutsun #wnbateam #sportscreator
