Devonian Gardens is alright, but it ain't what she used to be. The OG local homies will know. Devonian Gardens is a garden area inside The Core shopping centre. This is what it looks like now but before this had been renovated, it was like a magical oasis. A large variety of plants, and turtles, and Koi you could feed, it was a very nice indoor place to visit downtown, especially in the winter. Lots of weddings took place there as well. It had several pathways and areas where you could mostly avoid people. Lots of seating areas, good place for lunch too. What it looks like now is nice, but pretty corporate and bland. No more turtles or fish. Just kind of a plant place you sometimes remember exists. #Calgary #DevonianGardens #DowntownCalgary #yyc #fyp
