Designing the southernlivingmag Idea House in Fredericksburg meant thinking about how to bring the PCD point of view to the Hill Country in a way that felt completely at home there. We leaned into the landscape, the architecture and the spirit of the area, then layered in the things that have always defined our work: rich color, beautiful natural materials, pattern, antiques and a mix of old and new. The result still feels distinctly PCD, but with a warmth and ease that belongs in Fredericksburg. #southernliving #southernlivingideahouse #palomacontrerasdesign
