After years of delays, the Town of Babylon officially opened a newly-renovated skatepark in Copiague. Updating the 22-year-old skateboard park at Tanner Park had been on the town’s to-do list for years, said the deputy supervisor. The town closed the park for three years in 2010 to make repairs, but its asphalt surfaces continued to corrode. More at the link in bio.
