A dual-sport athlete, Sawyer brings a transferable skill set from basketball that shows up all over the lacrosse field. He’s a legitimate two-handed dodger and shooter who creates quality angles, attacks with purpose, and consistently finds the open man when he draws slides. On the defensive end, Sawyer is a physical, versatile competitor who can lock in and make an impact on both sides of the ball. The Lassiter product will join Thunder teammate Nic George in Macon, adding another dynamic Georgia-made player to the Mercer roster.
