This year’s recital weekend is a special one in so many ways - while it’s our first under our new name of Thrive School of Dance, this would have marked Mrs. JoAnn’s (our founder’s) 70th annual recial weekend. Time and time again over the past year, we’ve been reminded that this community and this space was meant to live on and continue to serve as a refuge, a place of growth and discovery, and a means to connect and lift each other up through our shared love of dance. We couldn’t think of a better way to honor the amazing woman that started it all than to dedicate this entire weekend to her.
