The homeowners of this upstate New York retreat wanted a home for their family of four that could welcome muddy tennis shoes while also being filled with "moments of delight," cozy reading nooks, and gorgeous textiles. Designed by Amanda Jesse and Whitney Parris-Lamb of #ADPRODirectory firm jesseparrislamb and shaped by Steve Silverstein of manningsilverstein Architects, the resulting space sports a palette of cherry wood millwork, Douglas fir flooring, and painted green details to match the Adirondack forest. “We feel we live in a space that perfectly expresses us,” says the homeowner.
